With the start of the Tokyo Motor Show; Yamaha Motor released a 4 wheel experimental reference vehicle called "MOTIV".

The uniqueness of the model is not it's appearance but it's inner-frame.
The car has been produced according to the iStream concept as proposed by Gordon Murray Design Limited and and originating in Formula One racing cars.

iStream is a technology for optimized and safe design. Its basic frame concept combines steel pipes with composite materials and demonstrates the possibilities for pursuing high levels of handling stability and safety.

The frame has the adaptability to be modified to accommodate various chassis designs and power units; equally accommodating gasoline engines, EV systems, hybrid configurations, and range extenders.

Nissan BladeGlider Best Concept Car of 2013

The new electric concept car, Nissan BladeGlider shows at Tokoyo Motor Show, proved to be the most eye catching and best concept car of the year.

BladeGlider is an electric car with 3 seats and doors coming out just like wings of an eagle. Its knife like design makes it more of a heart throb. Specs are closer to DeltaWing, a 300 horsepower racing giant. Interior is given a touch of arcade game style of a driver’s pod.

BladeGlider is an eloquent example of arsenal of electric cars currently under construction at Nissan. Apart from electric deva, there was some other excellent prototype placed at the motor shaow like Nissan's very own GT-R series with 545 horsepower 2014 GT-R and the gigantic 600 horsepower GT-R Nismo.
